When should you use this tool?
Adapt an image to dimensions required by a website, product listing or presentation. Width and height are measured in pixels. Resizing changes dimensions; compression mainly targets file size in KB or MB.
How to get your result
Enter a width or height and keep the aspect ratio to avoid stretching. If you set both dimensions without preserving the ratio, check for distortion. Enlarging a small image does not create new detail, so begin with a source large enough for the intended use.

A question?
Does this tool crop an image into a square?
No. It resizes rather than crops. Forcing a rectangular image into square dimensions without preserving its ratio can distort it.
Are my files uploaded?
Light tasks stay in your browser. Heavy tasks, or local processing lasting over eight seconds, automatically use the server when available. Temporary files are deleted after processing or failure. No account needed.
